What we do.

At Trailhead Physical Therapy, we have a special interest in treating bowel and rectal disorders. We know that many of you have gone through quite a bit of trauma, and we would like to do our best to help you get through this challenging journey. Please know that the body is amazing and that sometimes we forget how much it can help itself. Did you know that if you remove a part of the liver, it can grow back all by itself? Surface EMG is a great tool for helping you feel your pelvic floor contract and relax. Sometimes, we are unaware that the muscles are actually doing the exact opposite of what they should. Also, when you do sEMG, you don't feel a thing, and you can view the results on a computer screen.
