Meet your Physical Therapist:
Dr. Sunel Vanderwalt, PT, DPT.

Hi there! My name is Sunel. Welcome to Trailhead Pelvic & Visceral Physical Therapy. I'm here to assist you on your journey towards better health. I am friendly and easy to get along with, and I would love to help you with your pelvic floor problem. I also have a slight accent, which you may notice more on Fridays.

I want to invite you to come and see me if you are feeling frustrated, lost, or uncertain about the impact of any problem you may be facing. Our clinic offers a safe and confidential environment. I specialize in handling complex and potentially sensitive topics, so you can rest assured that you will be in good hands.

My years of experience working with patients in various settings and my extensive coursework in pelvic health therapy have given me the tools to provide comprehensive, multidimensional treatments for pelvic health issues. I know that pelvic health problems can be multifactorial and require a unique approach, which I will tailor to you specifically.

I have worked with individuals of all ages in various healthcare settings and was part of the team responsible for treating athletes during the 1995 Rugby World Cup. With broad experience working with kids, I completed my transitional doctorate in physical therapy, with a focus on pediatrics.

I am excited to meet you and look forward to starting this journey together.

Sincerely

Sunel

The Trailhead Pelvic & Visceral Physical Therapy Story

The trailhead is the point at which the trail begins.
Delicate arch in Moab, UT

"May your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears."Nelson Mandela

I established Trailhead Pelvic & Visceral Physical Therapy to support adults and children experiencing orthopedic and pelvic health issues. I have a particular interest in male pelvic health and bowel/GI dysfunction, as my father suffered for years in silence from a bowel disorder before seeking help. I understand the embarrassment and anxiety that accompanies pelvic/bowel disorders.

I aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment where you can receive high-quality, one-on-one, non-rushed care for a possible challenging condition. My primary aim is to help you regain control over your life and engage in the activities you enjoy without being hindered by your issues.

Please join me at Trailhead Pelvic & Visceral Physical Therapy for quality pelvic health care. All genders are welcome in our therapy home!
